The Marshall Plan was the plan to rebuild and recover Europe, also known as the European Recovery Program. The Marshall Plan lasted from 1948 through 1951. Due to this plan, it increased the confidence of the European people and they started to believe that their home will be saved. The program raised 13 billion dollars to rebuild Europe. The Americans built the plan to help the Europeans get back on there feet, but the Soviets thought that the Americans were going to interfere in the internal affairs of other states. Due to this, the Soviets did not agree to participate in the plan. The Soviets did not allow Poland and Czechoslovakia to join in on this plan.
